TPD looking to solve final two homicide cases of 2025

TULSA, Okla. — The Tulsa Police Department is asking for help to solve the final two cases from 2025.

TPD says it investigated 47 homicides last year and have solved 45 of them. Right now, they stand at a little over a 95% solve rate. 

The first case they are looking back at was Tulsa’s 41st reported homicide. Officers responded to a shooting near 235 West 61st Place North on October 17 around 11:15 p.m. and found 30-year-old Trevon Evans lying in the street with multiple gunshot wounds. Witnesses said a gunfight broke out at a large birthday party in the area.

Police say Evans died from his injuries.

The next case was Tulsa’s 47th reported homicide. Officers responded a shooting a home near 50th Street North and North Boulder Avenue. They say Marvin Arnett, 35, was walking into a house when a drive-by occurred.

Arnett was taken to the hospital when he died from his injuries.

The reference numbers for the cases are 2025-053528 (Homicide #41) and 2025-063349 (Homicide #47).
