TULSA, Okla. — The Clark Youth Theatre is reaching out to the community to help them with their budget after paying to fix some plumbing issues.
They are launching a fundraising campaign to help cover the $25,000 repair needed and to protect the upcoming youth program. The problem started when a sewer line failure behind the theatre building led to extensive excavation and replacement of damaged clay pipes.
They say the repairs were needed to keep the building operational and to allow rehearsals, classes and performances to continue.
The nonprofit approved the work, but the cost forced them to pull funds from budget funds that were reserved for summer camps, teaching stipends, and program supplies.
The Clark Youth Theatre has launched a seven-day campaign to restore the funds. If you would like to donate and help them, you can click here.
