COWETA, Okla. — The City of Coweta said crews are working to improve the safety and reliability of its drinking water system.
Work is underway on the City’s Skyview tank system to enhance its service to the community.
Crews are completing structural repairs and painting, along with mixing improvements and spray aeration. The project is expected to be finished by April 1.
The City said an ODEQ-approved corrective action plan is in place to optimize chlorine treatment and improve system turnover.
Reservoir sludge removal is also underway and scheduled for completion by Oct. 1.
The City said it remains committed to transparency and will share updates as milestones are reached.
