BROKEN ARROW, Okla. — The City of Broken Arrow said Evans Road will be closed during Spring Break while crews work on a reconstruction project.
Evans Road will be closed between State Highway 51 and East 101st Street from March 16 to March 20.
The City said drivers will need to route to East 101st Street through the Creek Turnpike to the west, or the Oneta Road exit off State Highway 51 to the east.

Intermittent closures will begin during the week of March 23 to lay new asphalt pavement. During the week, pavement work will begin at 9 a.m. and and at 2:30 p.m. to allow for the morning and afternoon commute.
Weather permitting, the project is expected to be completed by March 27.
