A Tulsa Police officer was arrested for a DUI after allegedly crashing his car early Saturday morning.
At around 4 a.m., Tulsa Police responded to a car wreck, but found one of their own behind the wheel. Officer Caleb Dean-Bethel was taken into custody for driving under the influence.
Police said that when they arrived on the scene, Dean-Bethel’s speech was slurred and he was unsteady on his feet. They say he refused to take a breathalyzer, and he was taken into custody.
He was booked into the Tulsa City jail for DUI- alcohol. Tulsa police have not made an official statement on the matter.
He is doing administrative work, pending the outcome of his court case. Once that’s complete, there will be an internal investigation.
