SAND SPRINGS, Okla. — The Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office said a man was arrested in connection with a stabbing in Sand Springs on Monday morning.
Just before 10 a.m., deputies responded to a report of a stabbing near Industrial Avenue and West 5th Street.
A witness told deputies that the suspect had been accused of stealing tools by the victim. The dispute turned physical and witnesses said that the suspect stabbed the victim multiple times.
The suspect was booked into the Tulsa County jail for assault with a deadly weapon. The victim was transported to a local hospital to be treated for their injuries.
No official charges have been filed against the suspect at this time, according to the Oklahoma State Court Network, so we are choosing not to identify the suspect at this time.
