Tulsa Police investigate shooting Monday morning in east Tulsa

TULSA, Okla. — The Tulsa Police Department is investigating a shooting in east Tulsa Monday morning. 

According to police, officers responded after 6 a.m. to a shooting call just north of 31st Street and 193rd East Avenue. EMSA arrived before officers and were able to determine there was a shooting and victim on scene.

The victim was transported to the hospital prior to officers arrival. The victim was in a dark colored sedan when someone shot multiple rounds from outside into the vehicle hitting the victim multiple times. 

Police say the victim was stable on their way to the hospital. There is no information on the suspect or any cause to the shooting at this time.
