Man hit, killed by train in downtown Tulsa

TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa Fire said a man was hit and killed by a train near Cheyenne Avenue and Archer Street on Thursday.

TFD Spokesperson Andy Little said multiple fire crews responded to the scene and determined the man died from his injuries.

Tulsa Police said two people were crossing the tracks when a train hit and killed one of them.

TPD said Cheyenne will be closed at the tracks for a while as police continue to investigate.
