TPD responds to near head-on crash at 51st and Harvard

TULSA, Okla. — The Tulsa Police Department responded to an almost head-on crash at East 51st Street South and South Harvard Avenue on Friday.

Around 10:30 a.m. on Friday, authorities said they received a reports of an injury crash that occurred at the 51st and Harvard intersection.

Police stated one car ran a red light and hit another car that had a green light nearly head-on as it was going through the intersection.

According to the department, one driver reported they weren’t seriously injured. One of the people in the other car was transported to the hospital, but their injuries aren’t expected to be life threatening.
