PRYOR CREEK, Okla. — A federal investigation is underway after a pastor at the Church of Christ in Pryor Creek was stabbed.
According to the Pryor Creek Police Chief, police responded to a disturbance at the church on Monday.
The pastor of the church sustained lacerations to his hands from a female suspect, who had to be disarmed by two church staff members and subdued until police arrived.
The pastor was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Mayes County Jail, and then turned over to the FBI due to her tribal member status.
