Dog representing OHS to compete in the Puppy Bowl

By Fox23.com News Staff

OKLAHOMA — A dog from Oklahoma is returning to Puppy Bowl to compete this year.

Albi, a small mixed-breed, will represent the Oklahoma Humane Society (OHS) in this year’s Puppy Bowl XXII. She will take the field with 150 other dogs from 72 shelters across the U.S., Puerto Rico, and the British Virgin Islands.

This will be the Humane Society’s second year competing in the event.

OHS says Albi came to them through a local municipal shelter at 4 weeks old with injuries to her tail and chest. She recovered while in a foster home and is now with a forever family.

The Puppy Bowl will take place on Sunday, February 8 at 1 p.m. and will be simulcast on Animal Planet, Discovery, TBS, TruTV HBO Max, and Discovery Plus. There will also be a kickoff show at 12 p.m.
