The Oklahoma State Attorney General’s Office has filed multiple criminal charges against a Tulsa homebuilder.
Daniel Asher Ruhl, owner of Ruhl Construction and Asher Homes, is facing 7 felony counts of violating the Consumer Protection Act, and one count of Pattern of Criminal Offenses.
The affidavit in the case says that in various instances, either subcontractors were not paid or that construction was incomplete or that no construction happened at all.
In some cases, the A.G.’s office says liens were filed against clients’ newly-built homes, and in some cases, money was lost entirely.
The A.G.’s office says the total losses of the victims exceed $1,000,000.
