Tulsa Fire respond to house fire near 11th and Sheridan

TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa Fire Department responded to a house fire near East 11th Street and South Sheridan Avenue. 

Firefighters said a crew from Cox Communications noticed smoke in the area and called 911. The crew alerted the homeowner. 

Fire crews arrived on scene and said everyone inside was able to get out safely. Firefighters also rescued multiple pets, including several cats, four turtles, and a dog.

Firefighters believe the fire started on the second floor of the house however, they are unsure what the actual cause of the fire is at this time. 

No injuries have been reported at this time.
