BIXBY, Okla. — The Bixby Police Department has announced that applications are now open for the 2026 Bixby Junior Police Academy.
The academy gives teens a look at law enforcement while building leadership, teamwork, and confidence.
The junior academy will take place at Bixby Middle School from June 8 to 12. Graduation will be held June 12 at 3 p.m.
Students must be aged 14 to 18 and must submit a completed application, along with a medical questionnaire and a liability waiver.
The deadline to turn in the application is March 15 and will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis. Incomplete or late applications will not be processed.
