Tulsa Parks asking citizens to tell them which programs they want

By Steve Berg

TULSA, Okla. — The Tulsa Parks Department is giving you a chance to give your two cents on what kind of programs you’d like to see offered by the parks system.

They’re offering two surveysm one for adult programs, such as fitness and wellness, arts and enrichment, outdoor recreation, lifelong learning, and senior programs; and one for youth programs, like homeschool programs, after-school programs, sports, wellness activities, camps, and enrichment opportunities.

They’re asking people to tell them which existing programs they enjoy most and want to keep, and which programs they feel like are missing that should be added.

Tulsa Parks recently got $15 million from the Improve our Tulsa 3 package for things like playground and sports court renovations, which are still in progress.

They say the surveys are online and only take a couple of minutes to fill out.
