Authorities search for man who escaped from medical facility in Pryor

PRYOR, Okla. — Pyror Creek Police Chief Jeremy Cantrell said authorities are searching for a man who escaped custody on Monday.

Jonathan Cartwright was being held through CNMS at the Rogers County jail. He was transported for medical treatment and subsequently placed under an Emergency Detention Order.

At around 3:45 p.m. on Monday, he escaped from custody while at a medical facility in Pryor.

Cantrell said Cartwright’s original charges include child endangerment and fugitive from justice. He was last seen wearing a blue sweatshirt and light blue scrub pants with orange slides.
