Broken Arrow, Bixby voters head to the polls on Tuesday

BA voters will decide city council seats for Wards 1&2, Bixby voters are deciding on bond propositions

It’s voting day in Broken Arrow, voters will decide city council seats for Wards 1 and 2.

Ward 1 candidates are Jonathan Kelly, Cathy Smythe, and Debra Wimpee.

Ward 2 candidates are Mayor Craig Thurmond and Lisa Ford.

City council candidates in Wards 1 and 2 are saying the biggest thing their constituents say they want is infrastructure growth.

Also, a big day for Bixby voters, as they’ll head to the polls to decide on $28 million in bond propositions.

The propositions include funding for Bentley Park Sports Complex, road improvements, a new stormwater management facility, and a new fire station.
