TULSA, Okla. — A former Rogers County district attorney (DA) and assistant district attorney (ADA) won a defamation lawsuit against a Claremore Police officer Wednesday.

This is a case FOX23 has followed since 2013.

Former DA Janice Steidley and former ADA David Iski were accussed of wrongdoing, and these allegations were brought before a grand jury by Claremore Police Officer John Singer.

A grand jury cleared Steidley and Iski of criminal charges in 2014, but their defamation jury trial against Singer ended Wednesday.

The jury awarded Steidley $250,000. Iski was awarded $150,000. The two reached private settlements with other officers involved in the same case.
