Two suspects were arrested in Tulsa after the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation said remains of a missing man were found in Muskogee.
According to OSBI, 40-year-old Juan Luviano was reported missing on December 21, 2024.
Tulsa police investigated and learned Luviano was last seen on December 19th near North Trenton Avenue in Tulsa. We’re told the investigation led officers to suspect foul play, but the clues led them out of Tulsa and out of TPD’s jurisdiction.
OSBI was called in to help on January 9th.
On January 13th, OSBI searched a wooded area near Spaniard Creek in Muskogee County and found human remains.
OSBI said the remains were positively identified as Luviano.
Agents said 22-year-old Maria Guadalupe and 19-year-old Irwin Medina were identified as suspects. We’re told the two were arrested in Tulsa on Wednesday, January 15th.
Although the investigation continues, OSBI said the two face charges of First-Degree Murder and Conspiracy.
