A 19-year-old Bixby man was arrested Tuesday and faces child pornography charges, according to the Bixby Police Department.
According to Bixby police, the investigation into Jason Tosto began back in May of this year when detectives got a tip from state investigators. That tip, from the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigations Internet Crimes Against Children Task force, alerted police to multiple images and/or videos of child sexual abuse material.
BPD said detectives and OSBI agents with the ICAC task force began to investigate the tip and on August 8th a search warrant was served at Tosto’s Bixby home.
Police said digital devices were recovered from the home and later from the suspect.
Bixby PD said a warrant for his Tosto’s arrest was issued on December 11th and he was arrested on the 17th.
He faces a charge of Possessing, Manufacturing, or Distribution of Child Pornography.
