A 24-year-old Claremore teacher has been charged for reportedly having an inappropriate relationship with a high school student.
Rogers County court records show Mary Bumsted has been charged with one count of sexually battery.
Bumsted apparently ended the relationship after an undermined amount of time. She even called the authorities on herself.
Investigators state she has confessed to making out with the 17-year-old on several occasions. Tulsa World reports the student has corroborated Bumsted’s version of their relationship.
