TULSA, Okla. — Green Country residents are waking up to some dangerous cold weather Tuesday morning.
The National Weather Service in Tulsa has issued a Cold Weather Advisory for Northeast Oklahoma through 10 a.m. Tuesday.
NWS says dangerously cold conditions will continue this morning across much of northeast Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas. They expect wind chills from near zero to 5 below.
The National Weather Service advises residents to take precautions to protect themselves from the dangerous cold, including remaining indoors if possible and if not, wearing layers.
