Dump truck hits power lines in downtown Tulsa

The impact snapped a power pole, causing outages

A dump truck snagged the power lines with its bed in downtown Tulsa Monday morning.

It happened near 7th and Houston right around 10 a.m.

PSO reported more than 1,600 customers were without power for a short time.

All but five affected customers had power by 11 a.m.

PSO told KRMG power would return for the remaining customers once crews fixed the power pole broken in the incident.
