Electric power is lost in part of a Brookside neighborhood after a semi truck hits a power pole.
Tulsa Police Sergeant Jim Clark tells us it happened about 10 p.m. Tuesday at 4500 South Peoria Avenue.
"The truck fled the scene and was subsequently stopped at 6800 North Highway 75 and the driver (identified as 38-year old Eric Lee Gedeon from Norman, Oklahoma) was arrested for leaving the scene of an accident," Clark said.
Police diverted traffic in both directions on South Peoria Avenue for several hours.
PSO crews replaced the power lines early this morning.
