Family Dollar store robbed, some loot recovered

Tulsa, Okla. — A man shows a gun during a robbery at a Family Dollar store.

The clerk said the suspect never pulled out the gun during the holdup around 11:15 p.m. Sunday, but demanded money before leaving northbound through a neighborhood near the store at 6600 South Peoria Avenue.

Police used a canine and the helicopter to find some of the loot, but no one has been arrested.

We're told the suspect is a white male 25 to 30 years old, wearing a striped shirt and blue jeans.
