Streets get the biggest chunk of the "Improve Our Tulsa" dollars, but hundreds of millions of dollars are getting spent elsewhere in Tulsa.
If Improve Our Tulsa passes, $34.6 million worth of upgrades would begin at the fire department.
Tulsa City Councilor GT Bynum tells KRMG one of the biggest needs is fire trucks.
Bynum says, "I think the oldest truck we have that is still in use is a 1986 ladder truck."
$17 million is budgeted to replace aging fire trucks.
The department's 14-year-old breathing gear, known as a 'self-contained breathing apparatus' or SCBA, would also be replaced.
That comes with a $2.6 million price tag.
The remaining money would be spent on upgrades and renovations to the department's fire stations.
