Governor Kevin Stitt held a news conference at the Oklahoma Capitol on Wednesday to take questions and preview the upcoming legislative session.
The governor outlined his priorities for the upcoming session, which he said include: protecting taxpayers, making Oklahoma the best state for business, safeguarding the state’s savings account and protecting the Oklahoma way of life.
Later, Governor Stitt took questions from reporters on topics like an income tax cut, illegal immigrants serving jail time in Oklahoma and President Donald Trump’s federal grant freeze.
The Oklahoma Legislature will convene on February 3rd.
