Inmate who escaped Mississippi prison captured in Tulsa

TULSA, Okla. — An escaped Mississippi inmate was captured in Tulsa.

On Monday, the Mississippi Department of Corrections (MDOC) said Gregory Trigg escaped Mississippi State Penitentiary.

On Wednesday, MDOC said Trigg was captured in Tulsa. US Marshals arrested Trigg and he was booked into Tulsa County Jail.

According to MDOC, Trigg is serving 61 years for multiple sentences including armed robbery, kidnapping, burglary, conspiracy to commit a crime and felon in possession of a firearm.
