JCPenney closing four stores in Oklahoma

Sat, March 18, — KRMG told you back in February about JCPenney's announced plan to close 138 stores in 2017.

We now know four of those stores will close in Oklahoma.  However, all Tulsa locations will remain open.

Stores in Claremore, Ponca City, Altus and Stillwater will be closing their doors.

So far, the company hasn’t announced when those four stores will close for good.  JCPenney did announce in a press release, liquidation will begin at most of the listed stores on April 17.

We will continue to update the story when more information comes into the newsroom.
