The next generation of the KRMG Interactive Radar is now ready for prime time, and available on the Internet via computer or mobile device.
It features a number of upgrades, including:
- Now, interactive radar is available for non-Flash devices like iPhone and iPad.
- Mobile users automatically see interactive weather for their area (if they enable mobile geolocation features).
- Users can also search for interactive radar for a specific zip code or city.
- Users can zoom in/zoom out of the interactive radar map.
- For current weather, users can view clouds and storms in addition to the normal rain/snow radar.
- For future weather, users can view sky conditions, rain totals, snow totals, ice totals, temperature, humidity, wind speed, and more.
- Users can also choose between aerial, road, and hybrid views.
