KRMG’s Dan Potter awarded first ever Community Volunteer of the Year Award from Make-A-Wish Oklahoma

The award was also named after the KRMG host; to be called the Dan Potter Community Volunteer of the Year Award

During the 16th Annual KRMG Stories of Light campaign, which raises money for Make-A-Wish Oklahoma, KRMG Morning News Host Dan Potter was given an award to recognize his contributions to the non-profit.

Live on the air, Make-A-Wish Oklahoma Director of Development Jane Rohweder announced Dan Potter to be the first ever recipient of the Community Volunteer of the Year Award.

Additionally, Rohweder announced the award will be permanently named after Potter.

“The volunteers from here on out who are selected for this award will be receiving the Dan Potter Community Volunteer of the Year Award.” Rohweder said.

The award is to recognize those who helps spread the message of Make-A-Wish to entire communities.

“We couldn’t think of anybody more deserving of this award than you, Dan Potter.” Rohweder added.
