TULSA, Okla. — Vietnam veteran Ray Henson, 72, was honored by friends, family and the Wounded Veterans of Oklahoma in a drive-by parade near his home.
Henson has had a rough couple of months dealing with kidney failure at the hospital.
He’s been sent home on hospice with only a few weeks left to live.
Henson says he’s never felt better being at home with his family.
He served with the Marines from August 1965 to June 1973, four of those years were in Vietnam. The parade honored Henson for his service and bravery.
