Tulsa police arrested a man for stealing from an ice cream truck Sunday afternoon, but he didn’t take a popsicle or drumstick like you might think when you hear of such a theft.
Officers said Jim Remer stole a compound bow from the ice cream truck, which was parked at the Admiral Flea Market.
According to TPD, the truck’s owner noticed what had happened and confronted Remer, who they said at this point was yelling and threatening the owner with a knife.
We’re told the owner was able to get his bow back from Remer.
“Security from the flea market intervened and attempted to chase off Remer, who was still waving around the knife.” TPD wrote on Facebook.
Police arrived and arrested Remer without incident.
