Man loses drone on roof of Dallas Cowboys stadium

"Knock, knock. Can I get my drone back please"

The self called “dumb***” was flying his drone above Dallas landmarks like Reunion Tower, Globe Life Park and Hurricane Harbor.

However, when he tried the same trick at JerryWorld (AT&T Stadium,) he ran into a problem. “This wasn’t a good day for me,” he began.

“I let the building get between me and the transmitter, and it lost the control signal,” he continued on YouTube.

When the expensive toy ended up on the roof, the guy used another drone to find the first one.

He can’t just knock on the front door and ask for his toy back, but he did put in a request with the team.

The Dallas Morning News reports the Cowboys recovered the drone and will return it to the operator.

The paper says that may not be the only problem the pilot has.

The Federal Aviation Administration told WFAA-TV, "the FAA may pursue enforcement action against model aircraft operators who endanger the safety of the national airspace system."

It may turn out to be illegal but the video below is still pretty neat.
