Michael V’s Restaurant & Bar to close permanently

Last day in business will be Oct. 30

After more than 20 years in business, Michael V’s Restaurant and Bar in south Tulsa will close, according to owner Michael Minden.

“To all my friends, family and loyal customers for the past 20 + years that we have been in the restaurant business in Jenks and Bixby - this year has been tough, so we have made the decision to close and we have sold the restaurant without the name or concept and we wish the new owners the best of luck and see how long we can last doing nothing.” Minden wrote on Facebook.

Minden thanked the community for the years of support.

“The friendships and experience of the past 20+years is something I will miss and never forget.” Minden added.

Minden said he will be heading into retirement, but teased a potential future project.

“Now off to retirement and then maybe a coconut cream pie truck.”

Michael V’s will close for good October 30th.

In 2017, Chef Minden won a national contest for his Butterfinger Cream Cheese Brownie Pie.
