The city institution is planning a 75-million dollar renovation and expansion.
The project would be the largest makeover in the museum's 70-year history.
The museum has been known for its western heritage art.
The change would showcase their artwork in an effort to reach a more diverse audience.
The expansion was approved by voters in the Vision Tulsa tax package.
