Muscogee Principal Chief David Hill tells KRMG a vote to negotiate the purchase of the facility ended with a 12-0 approval.
Hill added despite the framework of a deal, details still need to be hammered out but he expects the purchase to happen.

The chief told KRMG News the tribe plans for the campus to include care for tribal members and the general public. The facility will continue to treat for cancer but will add other medical services as decided by the tribe’s department of health.
The chief confirmed the tribe will lease the facility while a final contract is negotiated and signed.
