Oklahoma father calls police on himself, twice

He reportedly took two Lortabs with alcohol

A father and convicted felon basically called Tulsa police on himself twice in one day.

Both calls happened on Sunday.

We're told Tulsa officers responded to a home near 51st and Memorial for a possible burglary in progress, but never found any suspects.

During the second call, Jeremy Rector invited them into his home.  He was reportedly going to show officers where the suspects broke into the house.

Once again, officers didn't find any burglars.  However, they did discover a loaded gun, meth, syringes, and a filthy home.

Making matters worse, police say Rector's father had dropped off his 3-year-old daughter earlier that day.

Despite knowing he would have his daughter, Rector admitted to taking two Lortabs and drinking alcohol before his child arrived at his home.

Rector was taken to the Tulsa County Jail.  He faces multiple counts including child neglect and possession of a controlled drug.

No word on if the child was picked up by a family member or taken into protective custody.
