Owasso to limit student capacity at football games, masks required

Tickets will be offered to seniors first

Owasso High School football games will look a lot different this year due COVID-19.

The district announced plans to limit the number of students allowed into the stadium.

According to the district, the student section will be moved to the south end zone bleachers. Those bleachers will be reserved for Owasso High School students only.

The section designated for students can hold nearly 1,500 fans, but only 400 students will be allowed in.

Tickets will be offered to seniors first. If there are tickets left over, tickets will be offered to juniors, then sophomores and freshmen.

If the total number of senior and junior requests exceeds 400 we will randomize the Junior requests and select the number that gets us to 400. We will continue in that format with sophomores and freshmen, according to Owasso Public Schools.

Additionally, students must wear a mask at all times.

Temperatures will be taken at the gate and hand sanitizer will be handed out upon entry.
