Tulsa Police say a person was killed today in a fall from the roof of the main, circular 10-story tower at at Saint Francis Hospital near 61st and Yale.
Police say the person fell about 100 feet onto the 2nd floor of the adjacent Trauma Emergency Center that's still under construction, on the northeast side of that structure.
Initially, police thought the person might have fallen from the under construction Trauma Emergency Center.
Authorities have not yet identified the victim, but they say it does not appear to be a construction worker since the victim was wearing street clothes and had no safety vest.
Tha accident happened just before noon.
It's not clear how the person fell.
Police say the victims was spotted by a patient of the hospital who was looking out the window of their hospital room.
