POLICE: Drunk driver crashes into Tulsa home, injuring mother & children

Tulsa police arrested Elizabeth Ely Sunday night after officers said she crashed her truck through a home near 33rd St. N. and N. Columbia around 9 p.m.

According to police, officers found the pickup crashed through a wall, leaving it fully inside the house. We’re told a mother and her two children inside the house sustained minor injuries.

Tulsa police said Ely appeared to be under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash.

A child riding in that truck with suspect ran from the scene, but police said the child was later found uninjured.

Ely was arrested for:

- Child Endangerment

- DUI

- Transporting an Open Container

- No License

- No Insurance
