Police investigating ATM theft at Tulsa bank

TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa police are investigating after three people broke into an ATM overnight.

Just before 1 a.m. Friday, officers got an alarm call from Chase Bank near 41st and Yale, police said.

When police showed up, they found an ATM machine that had been forced open at the bank.

About a minute later, officers got another call about a suspicious car and officers found a car they suspect to be involved abandoned.

Police said three people who were “heavily disguised” stole cash from the ATM.

Detectives are processing the scene and will look and surveillance video.

Police said this is the third ATM theft or attempted ATM theft in the last few months.
