Power lines left hanging after car collision with pole

Tulsa, Okla. — A motorist will face a drunk driving charge after a high-speed collision near 1700 South Peoria.

TPD Capt. Malcolm Wightman said he driver “struck a power pole and rolled. The vehicle had one occupant the driver who was not injured and refused medical treatment.”

The collision caused the power pole to snap.

Traffic was blocked until PSO arrived to make repairs after the collision at 11:30 Thursday night.
