President/CEO of Moody's Jewelry dies suddenly

Ernest Moody, III, the President/CEO of Moody's Jewelry has died.

Company spokesman Craig Ehrman confirms for KRMG that Moody passed away suddenly Sunday.

Ehrman said Moody's death was a "shock to everybody."

Moody's brother, Kevin Moody, serves as vice president of the company and has been tabbed to take over as president.

Ernest Moody, Jr., the father of Ernest and Kevin, started Moody's Jewelry in 1944 at the company's 12th and Harvard location.

Moody's has since expanded to 7 stores in Tulsa and Broken Arrow with around 60 employees.
