‘Shotgun robber’ wounded during liquor store holdup

Tulsa, Okla. — The notorious Tulsa shotgun robber is captured. Tulsa police tell us he was shot several times by the Forest Acres liquor store owner when he tried to rob her store Thursday. TPD Sgt. Brandon Watkins said, “It does appear that this is going to be the guy that we had been looking for...has done multiple robberies here in Tulsa as well as up in the county.” The man made his way to a hospital after the shooting. The store owner had some minor injuries from fighting with the man before shooting him. We're told this was the tenth robbery since January, including others at Dollar stores and convenience stores. The man's shotgun was found at the scene at 1275 South Memorial.
