Suspect accused of head-butting police officer

Tulsa, Okla. — A man is accused of head-butting a police officer.

Tulsa police say Marico Ferrick resisted being questioned during a traffic stop Wednesday.

We're told the officer had found a driver's license inside the car belonging to a retired TPD officer.

That's when Ferrick started resisting arrest by head-butting the officer and spitting on him.

The officer used pepper spray to get Ferrick cuffed.

Ferrick is accused of assaulting the officer and resisting arrest.

He is also charged with unlawful use of a license.
