Inside you’ll find everything from 24-carat gold bathroom fixtures, floors made of marble imported from Italy, and giant chandeliers. The home is more than 23,000 square feet and features three main floors. There’s 8 bedrooms, 13 bathrooms, and an indoor, heated pool.
Fontana Fitzwilson with Williams and Williams Real Estate Sale told FOX23 everything inside the home goes with it in the upcoming auction. She added all of the artwork throughout is worth more than $1 million alone.
As for why the home is now up for auction by the owner, Fitzwilson explained, “he loved this property and he’s got a couple of businesses now that he’s focused on, so it’s time for a new owner.”
She added, “the current seller has owned it about 10 years and this was just a love project for him, he wanted to, it was in a little bit of disarray when he bought it, and so he has actually put millions of dollars into this property.”
Fitzwilson said besides a traditional home, the mansion could perhaps be used as an event venue for weddings and business retreats or even an Airbnb. According to the Mayes County Assessor, in 2021, the home was assessed at about $6.6 million. For more information about the auction process, click here.
