Teenager arrested for stabbing man at the Tulsa State Fair

Deputies said this was not a random crime, but rather a long-running feud between two individuals

A 16-year-old has been arrested for stabbing a 21-year-old man on the midway at the Tulsa State Fair Sunday, according to the Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office.

The sheriff’s office told KRMG the suspect and the victim have had a long-running feud that came to a head at the fair.

The victim was stabbed three times, but survived. Deputies said the suspect fled the scene, leaving the fairgrounds entirely.

A friend helped the victim to the sheriff’s office command post on the fairgrounds, where first responders assisted the victim.

Witnesses were able to lead investigators to the suspect, who was arrested Monday morning.

TCSO did not release the suspect’s name because he is a juvenile and has not yet been charged.
