Tornado strikes Jay, Okla., three people injured

Jay, Okla. — The city of Jay Oklahoma in Delaware County is without power from a tornado before midnight Thursday morning.

State troopers say three people had minor injuries.

One person was trapped inside a house north of town, but was freed.

The mayor of Jay was asking residents to conserve water until the power could be restored.

A nursing home in the town was using its generator to provide electricity.
