BROKEN ARROW, Okla. — Tulsa County District Attorney Steve Kunzweiler was elected to a second term in the 2018 midterm election, defeating Democrat Jenny Proehl-Day.
Kunzweiler’s watch party was held at Pharridge Farm Western Party Barn in Broken Arrow on election day.
9:28pm: DA Kunzweiler received a call from his opponent, Jenny Proehl-Day, as she conceded in the race for Tulsa County District Attorney. Kunzweiler will serve a second term.
8:10pm: After a delay in reporting from Tulsa County, early results show Kunzweiler in the lead with 55 percent of the vote.

6:40pm: 20 minutes until the polls close. The crowd is growing as Kunzweiler supporters arrive. DA Kunzweiler tells me he feels confident he will emerge victorious.
